Chronic stress takes a toll on your health. Increased stress can derail any healthy eating plan and cause you to lose sleep. It is the third factor in maintaining balance. Stress causes a series of reactions in your body that can lead to depression, anxiety, insomnia, hormonal imbalance, overeating, stroke, increased risk of diabetes and high blood pressure. Without managing your stress level, your body will never be in balance. Saying “no” and making yourself a priority could save your life.
