Even if you hit the jackpot in the “parent lottery” or got more blessings than a losing ticket, you still have a HUGE responsibility, you have to make sure those blessings go forward. Children do not come with a handbook and all parents make mistakes. Talk through the things that you wish would have been done differently with you with your parents, an older family member, a friend or a therapist. You will make some missteps, but if you keep trying, you will get better and better. Each generation has the opportunity to shift and create more and more blessings.
